Selfie
Selfie of Favorite Things
My overall message that I'm trying to say is that I love sports like ice hockey and softball. I'm also saying that I love dogs. My first layer is the dog paw, and it represents my true love for dogs. My second layer is a softball glove and a ball, it represents my love for the game, and that I used to play the sport. My last and final layer is two ice hockey sticks and a puck, which represents my absolute true love for the game, and the fact that I play the sport myself. How I designed my image through photoshop was I took out the background of each object picture, and then resized two of them so that way they would fit the background. After that I made my face a little lighter, so that way also in the background you can see the two ice hockey sticks and the puck. My tittle for this is Selfie of Favorite Things, since the photos I used are some of my top favorite things.
Double Exposure
Beautiful Sky and Land Around Water
I improved my photography a lot since I came into the class. Now I know to watch what your background is and what type of lighting you should be in to take the photo. I've also learned a lot on how to edit an image once it is taken. I've also learned how to improve on the image itself, and how I can add many different styles to the image. I feel like I'm going to be a better photographer now that I have taken this class.
Compare and Contract Selfie/Double Exposure
Compare: They both have something that I love in the background behind me. In both images my hair is down, and over my shoulders.
Contrast: In my selfie I didn't smile, but as you can see in my double exposure one I did. In my selfie I was wearing a jacket, and in my double exposure image I was just wearing a long sleeve shirt.
